// what Gobkit is

One API call in, a game-ready character out.

Gobkit supplies free 3D game assets three ways, all CC0 and all machine-readable. Gobkit's curated library is 69 rigged and static .glb models; the community library keeps growing; the Forge generates a new creature when neither has what you need. Every layer answers one unauthenticated request to gobkit.com/api/free — no account, no API key, no rate limit.

The full guide compares all three layers, including the one place their animation conventions differ.

Good to know

What is Gobkit?

Gobkit is a 3D game-asset service run by Alsomind Tech Co., Ltd. in Taipei, Taiwan. It publishes 69 CC0 rigged, animated, game-ready .glb models at no cost, with no account and no API key, and sells an API that generates new monsters and NPCs from a single call. More at About Gobkit.

What do I get at no cost?

69 models across four packs — 28 rigged animated characters and 41 static nature props, 10,605 triangles and 3.63 MB unpacked in total. No account, no API key, no rate limit. Browse them at gobkit.com/freebies or fetch /api/free as JSON.

Can I use the models commercially?

The free packs at /freebies are CC0 1.0 (public domain): commercial use allowed, no watermark, no attribution required. Paid plans deliver generated models as clean commercial files with no attribution credit. The one exception is the free tier of the Forge generator (3 generations per month) — those generated files carry a visible attribution credit.

How much does it cost?

The free CC0 library costs nothing and needs no plan. Generating new monsters is $19/month for Starter (30 monsters), $39 for Pro (100), and $99 for MAX (500, plus the public API key). See pricing. Prices in USD; taxes calculated at checkout by Paddle.

Which engines do the files work in?

Any engine that reads glTF 2.0. They are plain binary .glb with no Draco and no Meshopt, so nothing extra to install: three.js, Babylon.js, Unity (glTFast or UnityGLTF), Godot 4, Unreal 5, Blender and <model-viewer>. Loading code for each is in the free assets guide.

How do refunds work?

See our Refund Policy. In short: consumed generations aren't refundable, and Paddle (our payment processor) reviews refund requests within 14 days of a charge.
